Solitude Letters

Documentary, 5 min, 2021

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was locked in my house and anxiously thinking of all the things that I wasn’t able to do anymore. After weeks of stress, my perspective changed and my room slowly turned into a space filled with possibilities. It made me think of people who already enjoyed a solitary life far before the COVID-19 pandemic started. Perhaps to them, a lockdown or quarantaine was not that bad at all. I wrote them letters to ask about their experiences
with being alone.
